The CMS Kansas City Regional Office invites you to participate in a series of webinars on the Medicare Fall Open Enrollment. The purpose of the sessions is to give you information and resources necessary for assisting your Medicare clients during the Medicare Fall Open Enrollment Period which begins November 15th and ends December 31st. This is the time of the year when all people with Medicare should review their current health and/or prescription drug plan and compare it to others to make sure it is still the best option for them in 2010. Those who do not have prescription drug coverage can also enroll in a drug plan during this annual enrollment period. Any changes or enrollments made between November 15th and December 31st are effective January 1st, 2010.
Below is the training schedule. Please note that the first session is for people new to working with Medicare and those that need a refresher course on the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Finder Tool. The remainder of the sessions will focus on providing you with the most up-to-date detailed information on the Medicare Fall Open Enrollment, Non-Renewals, and Prescription Drug Plan Finder updates. All the webinars will feature a Q&A session with our subject matter experts. There is no cost for this training and access to the sessions will be provided via a toll-free telephone line and web link.
